In 2019, an Acer Aspire E5-476G unlocked ten Linux distributions and a shipped .NET Framework email utility before AI existed.
Built in ninth grade when there was still no AI to speed up development. Pieced together SMTP email logic in .NET Framework from multiple YouTube videos, blogs, and StackOverflow answers. The code was messy and capped at three file attachments, but it worked and shipped on SourceForge.
With a stronger CPU, more RAM, and larger storage on the Acer Aspire E5-476G, hopped across Debian, Deepin, Pop!_OS, elementary OS, Solus, Manjaro, Arch Linux, openSUSE, CentOS, and Fedora. Explored cross-platform .NET Core, hit the missing WinForms support on Linux, and cycled back to Windows 10.
By college at STI College General Santos (2022 to 2026), AI had arrived, and instead of just prompting it, Glenn trained and deployed his own NLP model.
